Charity Week
Charity bands will allow entrance to all lunchtime events, only £2.00!
Please support as many events as possible, especially the Fashion Show & ‘Bassy Day’ on Friday.
The aim is to raise over £1000.

Focus for the Week
Safe Drive Stay Alive- On Tuesday 21st February all Year 12 students will be attending ‘Safe Drive Stay Alive’ at Chichester Festival Theatre, along with all of the other local sixth forms in this area. It is a hard hitting presentation designed to explain to 16/17 year olds the dangers of driving and how best to keep themselves safe. Year 12 lessons will therefore be cancelled periods 1 to 4. Buses will leave from the SFC at 9.00
Punctuality to Lessons. It is every student’s responsibility to be on time to all lessons. Students must leave the SFC in time to get to their class when it begins.
Events
Prom Year 12 & Year 13 on 5th July at Goodwood. A payment plan is available via Mrs Anderson in the Finance Office at CHSG.

Careers & UCAS update:
The Nuffield Foundation is offering a limited number of Nuffield Science Bursaries to young people in Sussex. Year Y12 students studying science subjects would be eligible to apply for paid work experience during the summer holiday in a science related workplace. For more information see the STEM Sussex website at www.stemsussex.co.ukor speak to Mrs Oliver.
The QS World University Tour undergraduate fair will be taking place in London on Sunday 11th March 2012. The fair will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre SW1P 3EE (nearest tube station is Westminster or St James Park) and runs from 1pm until 5pm.
There will be over 30 of the world’s top universities, from both the UK and abroad exhibiting at the fair looking to talk with students interested in higher education. They will also run a seminar programme on the day on topics such as applying to a top UK institution, studying abroad and funding/scholarships advice.
