GCEs in Travel and Tourism have been developed to provide a broad educational basis for further training and further education, or for moving into appropriate employment within the travel and tourism sector. They have been designed to be delivered through work-related contexts and to allow students to develop an understanding of the travel and tourism sector. Visits and guest speakers form an important part of the course. Students will work within a supportive environment but take an active role in their own learning
