The Sixth Form Student Council is at the centre of Sixth Form life. Elected by all students, its officers and members serve for one year and meet weekly.

The Sixth Form Council organises a wide range of activities during the year to help students to get to know each other and to raise money for their chosen charities. These activities include the fashion show, Sixth Form Ball, Fun Run, Girls' Football and Rugby tournaments, plus lots more! The Council also provides a forum in which matters of concern to students can be discussed and brought to the attention of the Heads of Sixth Form.

Each Tutor Group elects one Upper Sixth Member, four further Lower Sixth members are elected by students early in the Autumn Term.
