A2 6 Analysis and critical evaluation of factors which optimise performance

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including a science (preferably grade B or above)

Course content

This subject encourages students to take a broad view of physical education, to develop their capacity for critical thinking and to appreciate the relationship between different aspects of the subject. Candidates should have knowledge and understanding about the factors which influence performance and participation in physical activity, and be able to apply them to a range of different activities
