Course content
All students begin with the Foundation module which introduces the two major areas of study - Philosophy and Ethics.
In Philosophy at AS/A2 you will then study the different ways that people have tried to answer philosophical questions from a religious perspective.
Ethics involves a study of the way that people make moral decisions and the influence of religious belief on morality. This part of the course will also involve the study of contemporary moral issues such as medical and sexual ethics, warfare and justice. Several visits to conferences will help students to develop their subject knowledge and debating skills.
