Course content

AS provides opportunities for study of a range of texts - Film, Television, Newspapers, Magazines. Specific study will look at Action/Adventure films, Television Sitcom; Magazines; Tabloid Newspapers.

The choice of production ranges from opening thriller sequence to the printed pages of a teenage magazine.

A third paper allows students to study New Media Technologies.

A2 enables students to produce an advanced production in one of the following:- Film, Television, Print (NB The production medium must be different to that worked on at AS)

Students also produce work for a research study paper
