Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade C or above, with at least grade B in German

Course content

Students' understanding of and communication in spoken and written German will be developed. Students will increasingly use more accurate, complex and varied German. They will develop critical insights into contemporary German society and its culture and historical background, using authentic German. There will be some translation, and grammar will be an important feature.

AS Level general topics include health, transport, media, relationships, leisure and business. Among A2 topics are the environment, politics and the European Union, plus a choice of specialist topics.
