Course content

The AS course will include work on Earth Systems and Rivers and Coasts in physical geography, while on the human side you will study population characteristics and movement, as well as settlement patterns. You will have local fieldwork and the opportunity for a residential fieldcourse on the Isle of Arran. At A2 you will study either glacier systems, ecosystems, development processes, and urban-rural interrelationships, or atmospheric processes and economic systems. There will be another opportunity for a residential fieldwork week in Lanzarote.
