Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade C or above, with at least grade B in French

Course content

Students' understanding of and communication in spoken and written French will be developed. Students will increasingly use more accurate, complex and varied French. They will develop critical insights into contemporary French society and its culture and historical background, using authentic French. There will be some translation, and grammar will be an important feature.

AS Level general topics include health, transport, media, relationships, leisure and business. Among A2 topics are the environment, politics and the European Union, plus a choice of specialist topics.
