Course content

AS students are introduced to language study, using a variety of texts as the basis, before focusing on the linguistic aspects of specific social groups. They also develop control of their own writing for different audiences and purposes.

A2 students apply their knowledge of language frameworks to a small research project. They learn to construct a new text from a variety of sources. In addition students focus on language change and language acquisition.
