Course content

The AS units comprise : Introduction to Language and Literature (anthology based); The changing language of literature (comparison of two texts written in different centuries); Production of texts (one for a reading audience, and one for a listening audience).

The A2 units comprise : Text transformation (writing own texts based on reading a variety of text types imitating a particular style); Talk in life and literature (a comparison of 'real' life talk and Shakespearian dialogue); Critical approaches (critical responses to unseen texts).
