Course content
In the AS course you will learn how supply and demand determine the way scarce resources are allocated. You will also study how inflation, unemployment and economic growth can be controlled.
The A2 course examines the theoretical 'models' that economists have developed to explain how firms behave, and the effects of this upon the use of scarce resources. The macroeconomic module develops the theoretical tools that can be used to analyse, explain and influence the performance of an economy.
