Course content
The stimulating nature of this course will prove that Accounting is not boring! Studying Accounting is not just maths, but will contribute to your understanding of the non-financial aspects of business such as the social repercussions of closing an unprofitable business in a deprived area, replacing labour with technology or excessive cost-saving which affects health and safety at work.
Of course, you will also learn Accounting procedures, and be able to apply your knowledge and understanding to a variety of Accounting problems. You will be able to analyse and interpret information in different forms, and evaluate results, enabling you to assist in the decision-making of non-financial managers.
On completion of the course, you will be well equipped to work in the Accounting field, or pursue your studies at a higher level.
